McCain - typical Republican hypocrite

John McCain just became the biggest hypocrite in World history.
He says one thing out of his mouth and does the other.

How typical has this been with the Republicans over the last decade? Remember when Bush, Sr. was President and the Republicans controlled the House and Senate? Government grew way past inflation. And then Clinton was the President for eight years and government only grew 3% a year. Those were the good ole days heh? Now under George W we get a minimum of 17% growth a year. He's never seen a bill worth a vetoe!
They keep spouting smaller government but do the opposite.

McCain likes to tout how big a pork buster he is? Really? The day before the Senate vote John McCain said he wouldn't vote for the bill if it had pork in it. The next day he voted for the largest pork bill in the World history to the tune of $810 Billion dollars!

I think he just signed his fate away to Obama. How can anybody trust a man with character like that?

Ooooh, I get it now!

Oh, I get it now. This is how an aspiring Socialist government takes over its countries large corporations. First, create entangling alliances through taxes, tax breaks, lobbyists, and regulations. Second, pass legislation causing them to fail like CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) and penalize them for not enforcing it. Finally, hype the crisis and offer to buy them. Brilliant!

The REAL solution to this mess is to allow the failed corporations to go through the bankruptcy process like the rest of us and then give their Congress a severe spanking.

Financial Crisis: Who predicted it?

Have you been watching TV lately? All the “bubble headed bleach blondes” and “yellow journalist Joe’s” racing around to see which one can get the next Republican or Democrat ignoramus to talk about our financial crisis. But there’s one very important person they keep forgetting to interview….not accidentally I’m sure. Only ONE economic expert, who has, for 18 months now, like Paul Revere riding in the night, warned of our impending financial crisis. He predicted the mortgage crisis. and he predicted the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bailouts.

Yet the only people the major news tabloids want to talk to are the very congressmen who are responsible for our failing financial policies or the presidential candidates who have no solution or even a sane recognition of a problem. It is rather disgusting. The media wants to continue to shun the man who knew of this coming problem and who is also the only man with the solution. How can the media have forgotten this man who brought this issue up at the dozen or so Republican Presidential debates during the primaries? Big media must have Alzheimer’s.

Who is this prophetic genius you ask? Why, it’s none other than Congressman Dr. Ron Paul. Wake Up America!

Wanted: Time Magazine editors

Here again I pick up a TIME magazine and find it seriously flawed. They really need to get some editors who do some research before publishing the crap their journalist are giving them.

In their September 4th, 2008 edition, Nathan Thornburgh writes an article entitled How Sarah Palin Mastered Politics. In this article the author states in reference to Sarah Palin "She was about to become the second female vice-presidential candidate in history — and the first ever for the Republican Party".

Second female VP candidate in history? Give me a break!

What about Joanne M. Jorgensen in 1998 of the Libertarian Party or Winona LaDuke in 1996/2000 of the Green Party or Nancy Lord in 1992 of the Libertarian Party...etc. I could go on and on. Go to http://www.guide2womenleaders.com/Candidates_Vice1880.htm and see for yourself the multitudes of US women VP candidates.

...how's that for a slap at women suffrage in America. It continues today with TIME magazine!

Nathan Thornburgh and the TIME magazine editors need to go back to school and relearn some history!

Additionally, my child continues to come home with "Time for Kids" with wrong information. I'm beginning to believe they are "spinning" history intentionally.

Two crimes don’t make a right!

**************************************************************
Two crimes don’t make a right!

The first crime was the Executive branch’s practice of spying on Americans without a warrant, a direct violation of our 4th Amendment. The second crime would be if Congress granted immunity to the telecom companies who cohort with the Federal government to commit the first crime. Two crimes don't make a right.

Since we no longer have the Constitutional right to "redress our grievances" with the Federal Government, we have no other recourse than the ability to sue those who cooperate with those who violate our rights! When the government stops being the vehicle to protect American rights what better way is there than to sue the corporations who actually commit crimes at the government’s request? Suing the telecom companies is a wonderful checks and balance alternative.

What a horrendous precedent this would set if Congress granted immunity to the Telecom companies. Imagine a government that was free to violate your rights and then freely grant immunities to anyone else that violated your rights.

Call your Senators and Representatives and insist they vote AGAINST immunity to the telecoms!

Go to http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/ and put in your zip code in upper left corner for their phone #’s.

News Corp (FoxNews) stock is falling!!!

News Corp (FoxNews) stock is falling!!!

News Corp is the parent company of Fox News. It’s time to make them pay in the pocket books!
Show them that if they think they are going to choose our President for us then they will have to pay severely for it.

I just discovered that my Vanguard IRA had News Corp as a holding. So I sold it off into a Bond fund. Stocks are falling anyway…bonds seem to be safer at the moment. Bye Bye News Corp!

Next I’m going to look into my 401K and get News Corp out of there also.

You can check if News Corp is invested in your fund by going to:
http://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/companysearch.html

Put in the ticker or name > click on the html link next to form N-Q > then click on the N-Q Document. Search that page for “News” to see if News Corp is in your fund.

Ron Paul is the biggest threat to the White House

What question is it that is asked to Dr. Paul every time he is interview? Every time he is on TV or the radio or in a debate he gets asked the same question. That question is “Will you consider running as an independent if you don’t get the Republican nomination?” Have you asked yourself why this question is so important? The reason it is so important is because it makes the difference of whether or not the big government Republican, like Giuliani, Romney, or Huckabee, has a run at the White House.

Dr. Paul has consistently said he has no plans to run as an Independent but he has never completely ruled it out either. If Dr. Paul loses the primary and bails out of the race then this leaves the door open for a big government Republican against a big government Democrat in the November 2008 election. This is what the central bankers, military industrial complex, main stream media, and basically all those who feed from the government trough want. However, if he runs as an Independent, then basically we’ll have a Bush Sr., Clinton, and Perot situation all over again and it’s a safe bet that the Republicans will surely lose the White House.

Ron Paul is the only small government candidate in the race for the White House. A big government Republican doesn’t have a shot at beating the Democrat. If the GOP were wise, they would see that Ron Paul is the only candidate that has a shot at beating the Democrat nominee.

The bottom-line is the Republican leadership needs to ensure the nomination of Dr. Paul as their Presidential candidate or they will definitely lose the White House.

Giuliani is NOT a VETERAN

Giuliani is NOT a VETERAN. We don’t need a civilian for president with all these wars we have going on.

Giuliani did not serve in the military! During the Vietnam War he received a student deferment while at Manhattan College and another while at NYU Law. Upon graduation from NYU Law in 1968, he was classified as 1-A, available for military service. He applied for a deferment but was rejected. In 1969, His employer wrote a letter to Giuliani's draft board, asking that he be reclassified as 2-A, civilian occupation deferment, because Giuliani, who was a law clerk for MacMahon, was an essential employee. The deferment was granted. In 1970, Giuliani received a high draft lottery number; he was not called up for service although by then he had been reclassified 1-A.

Vote for Ron Paul. He’s a veteran who will end the wars AND protect our borders! …which is something not even the Democrats will do.

Ron Paul – Clearly a Top-tier candidate

Ron Paul – Clearly a Top-tier candidate

It appears the mainstream media (MSM) is starting to take notice of Ron Paul as a Top-tier candidate now that he has raised over $5 million dollars in the 3rd quarter. Clearly, this is a feat only capable of top candidates. Yet their bias still prevails.

They act surprised by the fact that Dr. Paul has a large Internet following but is only receiving 2 – 4% in the polls. Have they not considered that perhaps the reason for this large Internet presence is that they will not give him equal coverage on the TV, radio, or in the papers? …or that the Internet is the only forum left that hasn’t been taxed and regulated by the government and henceforth is not beholding to corporate or government interests unlike themselves? They also don’t seem to deem it very important to stress where the poll numbers are coming from. They are coming from calls made to republicans that voted in the 2004 primary. A good majority of this voting block are neo-cons. This is clearly not the place where Ron Paul is getting his support. His support comes from peaceful republicans, democrats, independents, libertarian and all freedom loving Americans and as such, these polls mean nothing when measuring Ron Paul’s level of support.

Moreover, why do they incessantly preface Ron Paul’s name with “the anti-war libertarian congressman from Texas”? They do not preface Rudy Giuliani as the liberal Republican dictator-like mayor from New York or Hillary Clinton as the pro-war socialist Senator from New York.

The media seems to think it is important to continually report, to the point of upnoxiousness, that he is an isolationist. This cannot be any further from the truth. He is a pro-defense veteran and a non-interventionist. This means he does not believe we should invade small third world countries that pose no threat to our national security but does believe we should protect our borders and trade and communicate with all nations. That is hardly an isolationist!

Finally, one last tidbit you won’t hear on your TV. Giuliani, Romney, and McCain all collected lower contributions in the 3rd quarter than they received in the 2nd quarter but Ron Paul increased his by 114%.

The Media on the Values Voters Debate

Here’s what the news didn’t think was important to tell you.

Who was the ONLY candidate to have supporters outside the Values Voters debate? RON PAUL Which candidate had a tug boat, all painted red, white, and blue, going up and down the New River tooting its horn? RON PAUL Which candidate had yard signs and banners posted all over downtown? RON PAUL Who was the ONLY candidate to have a public reception for their supporters after the debate? RON PAUL

You didn’t see that on your TV or in your newspaper did you? Do you ever ask yourself why? Maybe you should. There were at least 100 Ron Paul supporters standing in front of the Performing Arts Center waving signs, holding huge banners, and chanting it up for Ron Paul big time! There wasn’t a sign or supporter for any other candidate for miles. A Hillary Clinton follower, who said he just got out of prison, harassed the Ron Paul supporters to the point that he got himself arrested by the police. What is it about Hillary that attracts these whackos? Peaceful Ron Paul rally’ers are really getting sick and tired of these stunts.

If there were this level of support for one of those bottom 4 candidates, who have a lot of money, you can bet it would’ve been reported. Now what TV channel recorded and observed all the above but didn’t think it was important enough to tell you. The local NBC Channel 6 that’s who!

Other Republican candidates might have more money but ONLY Ron Paul has real human beings backing him up and that’s what the media and the money candidates want to make sure you don’t see.

Honor? I’ll take Paul over Huckabee

During the debate, Huckabee argued with Ron Paul saying that we should stay in Iraq for “Honor”. Consider the following scenario. My neighbor is angry with me because I park my car slightly on his property, which is killing his grass. My neighbor is right but what should I do? A. To save face, and honor, I should continue to argue with him, or B. I should make amends and move my car.
Huckabee would choose A and Ron Paul would choose B. Whom do you want as your next President?

Huckabee has thought processes here that are typical of the neo-con mentality. There is nothing “honorable” about killing 3,000 more American soldiers so we can stay in a country we had no business invading to begin with.

Honor can be defined as “comprising the reputation, self-perception or moral identity of an individual or group. With this definition in mind, I think I will choose Ron Paul’s non-interventionist type of foreign policy. Do not let this non-interventionist policy lead you to thinking he is a wussy. Ron Paul voted in Congress in favor of bombing al-Qaeda terrorist camps in Afghanistan.

Ron Paul would use negotiating skill and intellect to conduct a respectable foreign policy but the current administration would rather use might to invade 3rd world countries which pose no threat to our national security.

Who Is Ron Paul?

Who is Ron Paul?

If you listen to the mainstream media, including the Sun-Sentinel, you would have no idea who he is. The Rudy McRomney republican candidates are paraded daily in the papers and on TV… but not Ron Paul. Why is it that the only “true Republican” is ignored?

Ron Paul is the only candidate who firmly stands behind our Constitution and has a 10 term Congressional record to prove it. At the end of the 2nd quarter, he had more money in the bank than John McCain. He voted against going into Iraq and is the only Republican candidate who advocates bringing the troops home now. His complete dominance among the Republican candidates on the Internet and his popularity among YouTuber’s and Digger’s are so great they call it a “phenomenon”.

With all these unique qualities which are “truly Republican”, how is it that this man can be ignored any longer?
